How long have you done Crossfit?
One year.
What’s your favorite movement?
Rowing or KB swings.
What is your favorite/least part about Crossfit?
Favorite: The friends I’ve made keep me coming back for more!
Least: The animal warmups. They are just the worst.
How many days a week do you do Crossfit?
I try to workout two to three days during the school year and four days in the summer.
Where do you work?
I’m a special education teacher in the Grove City Area School District.
What has Crossfit helped you with most outside of the gym?
Ordinary tasks (carrying groceries, lifting things, moving furniture) have become easier since starting Crossfit. Life has been more active and certainly more fun!
What class time is your favorite?
4:45. Especially on Monday and Thursday when the gang is all there. It’s a fun class!
What would you say to someone considering doing Crossfit?
Don’t Google, read blogs, or watch any videos. Just come in! The first WOD is the hardest. Make a commitment to do two days a week for two months. You’ll surprise yourself by what your body can do!

If there was an Ella WOD, what would it be?
It would be a partner EMOM. One partner does the odd minute and the other partner does the even minute.
