WHAT IS CROSSFIT?

CrossFit is a core strength and conditioning program that delivers a fitness that is by design, broad, general, and inclusive. We mix in elements of track and field, gymnastics, weightlifting, and strongman in short intense daily workouts to maximize results for any individual. Bodies were created to move and we get your body moving through functional movement patterns or, movements that you find in real life (i.e. pushing, pulling, squatting, jumping, throwing, carrying, and sprinting).

 

Because these movements are found in life outside of the gym, they are inherently safe. We offer group training sessions and one-on-one training. Although the workouts might look and sound intimidating at first, everything can be scaled up or down to meet the client at his/her ability level.

 

The benefits of working in a group are plenty. If you’ve ever played a team sport in high school and had to suffer through two-a-days in the August heat, then you’ll understand exactly what to expect. If not then the process will intrigue you. There’s nothing like having a friend (or foe) at your side, pushing you to perform at your best.
